Here's Rick Anderson's baseline workout:

Run 400 meters (1/4 mile)

5 Pull-ups

10 Push-ups

15 Sit-ups

20 Squats

 

Do 4 rounds and time yourself (total time, from start to finish)

Feel free to modify and of the exercises

Examples:

Pull-ups – jumping, pull-up assist machine

Push-ups – on knees, hands on bench, against the wall

Sit-ups – crunches, assisted (have a partner hold your hands and help pull you up

Squats – use a chair, have a partner hold your hands and help you up

 

It’s very important to journal your workout and make detailed notes on what modifications you made

Do this baseline (assessment) workout every 8 weeks and track your progress
