While he's avoided questions about whether or not he's dating Jennifer Lopez, Maksim Chmerkovskiy had no problem talking about his status on Dancing With The Stars when it returns this fall.
E! Online reports that Maks confirmed on The View that he won't be returning to the show as a pro dancer.
"I'm done dancing," he said to The View audience. "I think it's time."
Though he's leaving the show, The View made sure to clarify that it doesn't mean he won't return.
When asked about his decision to leave DWTS, Maks said, "When I came back to the show, it was not the same ... I was different, probably. When I came back, I saw this amazing talent…I looked at it and thought they can do much more and better, I was taking up a huge spot."
Maks is leaving the show on top; he won his first mirror ball trophy in season 18 with Olympic skater Meryl Davis.
