Matt and Bandy are avid watchers of HBO's "Game of Thrones." Every week they take a bit of time to discuss the previous episode with each other. If you're as big of a fan as they are, you could earn a gruesome death in one of the upcoming books; all it'll cost you is $20,000.
Game of Thrones genius George R.R. Martin has started a campaign to support two charities: the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary and the Food Depot in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The top donation tier of $20,000 will get you a character in a future "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel named after you. You'll also get to choose your character's station in the world (lordling, knight, maester, peasant, whore, etc), and Martin says your character "will certainly meet a grisly death!"
If you don't have $20,000 laying there's still some cool prizes available. For $7,500 you can get tickets to the Game of Thrones Season 5 premiere.
There are multiple donations levels (the lowest starting at $10), and any donation amount will enter you for the chance to win a tour of the wolf sanctuary and take a helicopter ride with Martin. "We'll also have plenty of time to discuss the show, A Song of Ice and Fire, direwolves," Martin says. "And if there's anything you have ever wanted to ask me, here's your chance!"
