Love Is All You Need

I've been incredibly blessed this Summer to be designated "Travel Gal" for The Link and I've gotten to see some beautiful places and meet some amazing people. And at Sandals Whitehouse, Jamaica I've learned that Love Is All You Need! From the minute you set foot on the 50 acre resort which, by the way, is the first Sandals resort ever built from the ground up, you get a sense of the love they feel for their country and one another. Every time you pass by an employee of the resort they smile and ask how you are with such a calm and relaxed demeanor it's impossible to continue to think about the stress of your every day life back home.

The grounds at Sandals Whitehouse are spectacular! Considering I can't even keep a quarter acre of grass alive in Charlotte it's hard for me to even fathom the amount of work that goes into maintaining 50 acres of lush, beautiful landscaping. All of the trees and flowers are stunning and they have their own nursery which helps maintain the beauty of the resort while saving money.

Beyond the lovely people and spectacular scenery, Sandals Whitehouse makes sure to go above and beyond to keep guests happy and entertained during their stay. All of the land and sea activities are included in your visit- even the glass bottom boat tour and scuba diving! And they have entertainment in the evening and offer a variety of shows in order to make everyone happy. On our first night here they had an opera singer by the main pool for a concert under the stars. The Boonoonoonos Beach Party on Monday was a riot! We did a congo line and learned some funny Jamaican dances. If you haven't seen me doing the Good Girl, Bad Girl, Naughty Girl dance the video is posted on the Link site. You can find it using keyword Whitehouse. My favorite show, by far, was the steel drum performance on the beach(which we also have a video of online)! They played all of the music The Link plays, like Adele, The Wanted, and Hot Chelle Rae but with steel drums- and they had break dancers to add to the fun. I was blown away by their talent and really wish we could fly them to Charlotte to perform at a Link party.

I hate to leave this gorgeous place but my work is done. Link listeners now know what's in store for them if they happen to win an amazing trip for 2 to Sandals Whitehouse- photos and videos are posted and my shenanigans have been documented on Facebook. For anyone reading this blog who is planning a vacation, or a destination wedding, please for the LOVE- look into visiting a Sandals Resort. The all-inclusive vacation is THE way to go! You don't pay cash for anything, or even tip, unless you've treated yourself to a spa service or stayed in a suite and utilized the services of a Butler. Sandals will change the way you vacation.

While writing this blog a sweet Jamaican gal named Rochelle just handed me an island drink and said, "Soon Come Back", and I think I'll just have to.
