Miley Cyrus may have spent the past week promoting awareness for homeless youth, but a zebra can’t change its stripes overnight.
A few days after her incredible VMAs non-acceptance speech, the wild child shared preview pictures from a new photo shot for “V” magazine.
Per Miley’s Instagram, the racy photos come from the magazine’s “Rebel Issue,” which arrives on September 10.
In a black and white photo, the pop star can be seen reclining on a bed of stuffed animals, wearing nothing except for a few smiley faces covering sensitive areas that were clearly added in post.
Iconic designer and photographer Karl Lagerfeld shot the photos of Miley for the fashion magazine.
Instead of accepting her Video of the Year award at the VMAs, the singer had a surrogate take the stage and give a speech about homeless youth.
The man, who opened up about being homeless himself, reportedly has a pending arrest warrant, but Miley’s commendable gesture has already received support from Chelsea Handler, Madonna and Kim Kardashian, among others.
