They may have played nemeses on screen, but “Ocean’s Thirteen” co-stars Ellen Barkin and George Clooney are actually great friends.
In fact, Barkin threw a bridal shower this week for Clooney’s future wife, Amal Alamuddin, according to “Page Six.”
Several of the bride and grooms’ family members were present for the “intimate dinner.”
The even more exciting news is that a source tells “Page Six” that the happy couple will tie the knot next month in Italy.
Both stars have been vocal about being friends and nothing more, even with Clooney’s former reputation as a Hollywood heartbreaker.
The news of their engagement was first confirmed her Alamuddin’s law firm in the U.K. back in April.
"...[B]est wishes and congratulations to Ms. Amal Alamuddin, a member of Chambers, and Mr. George Clooney on their engagement to be married," the statement read (via E! News).
They’ve already faced their share of rumors, including a pregnancy report last month that was promptly shot down by Clooney’s rep.
