Girls” star Allison Williams is about to get “Pan”-ned.

Well, hopefully not literally, but the actress is starring in NBC’s forthcoming “Peter Pan Live!” telecast.

According to the official press release, she’ll play the title role in the live special, which is set to air on December 4.

“I have wanted to play Peter Pan since I was about three years old, so this is a dream come true. It’s such an honor to be a part of this adventure, and I’m very excited to get to work with this extraordinarily talented team,” she said in the release. “And besides, what could go wrong in a live televised production with simultaneous flying, sword fighting and singing?"

Williams has sort of shown off her singing chops on HBO’s “Girls,” including her (purposely) cringe-inducing performance of Kanye West’s “Stronger” and her memorable cover of Edie Brickell’s “What I Am.”

“Peter Pan” follows the wildly successful “Sound of Music Live!” from last December, which led FOX to put a “Grease Live!” production in the works as well.
