Lindsay Lohan is not just taking a gig in the West End for fun, she’s planning to make London her fulltime home.
The star, whose reputation finally seems to be on the mend, has signed on for a role in David Mamet’s “Speed-The-Plow,” and in a chat with the BBC, she says she’s not leaving the U.K anytime soon.
“People have certain perceptions of me and stuff, and for a long time people looked at me as kind of a celebrity, which is… that’s not what I ever got into this industry for,” she told the BBC. “I’ve been doing this since I was three years old… People kind of forgot that, and I think now is kind of a good time [to fix that].”
LiLo got real about her flaky past, revealing that she has no plans to miss any performances of “Speed-The-Plow,” saying, “That’s not going to happen. That’s no in the cards. It’s not.”
She also agreed that she’s moving to London “for good,” in part because she enjoys being “able to turn on the TV and not everything is about gossip.”
“Speed-The-Plow” opens on September 24. Do you think Lindsay can do it?
