Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is learning that being in the spotlight sometimes means having to say you're sorry.
Vulture reports that the late diva’s daughter is apologizing to Angela Bassett after lashing out at her on Twitter.
“I’m a young [woman] that can admit her wrongs. 4who was offended I apologize BUT understand me before [you’re] quick to judge though,” she tweeted.
Bobbi Kristina was upset that the actress didn’t cast her as Whitney in a Lifetime biopic, “Whitney Houston,” which will mark Bassett’s directorial debut.
She has not removed her initial post, which read, “When I win my first Grammy or Oscar, *Shrugs* hmm whichever comes1st, I’ll be sure 2shout URname out b****!”
Bassett explained to “Entertainment Weekly” several days ago that she wasn’t considered for the part “for a number of reasons.”
“One being that she’s not an actress. I know she’s acted here and there… but she’s not an actress and acting is a craft,” she told “EW.”
The film, which will star Yaya Dacosta in the lead role, will primarily tell the love story between Whitney and her ex, Bobby Brown, but will not cover her 2012 death.
