It’s curtains for one “Orange Is the New Black” star, or at least it might be.

Pablo Schreiber, who plays prison guard George Mendez – not so affectionately known as “Pornstache” – may not be back on the Netflix’s comedy-drama’s third season in 2015.

Schreiber tells “Vulture” that he’s too busy on the forthcoming comedy “The Brink,” which stars Jack Black and Tim Robbins.

“I’m a series regular now on a show called ‘The Brink’ on HBO. But his mother is making an appearance on season three,” he noted to Vulture. “Mary Steenburgen has been cast as my mom… but for now, Mendez is in prison, biding his time. Spoiler alert!”

The show’s sprawling cast has dealt with at least one major (and temporary) departure in the form of Laura Prepon.

Prepon was originally set to bow out after the season 2 debut, but she later returned for a handful of episodes at the end and will be back as a regular in season 3.

It’s sad to see anyone on the pitch perfect prison drama go. But as we always say, “More Mary Steenburgen is better Mary Steenburgen.” Will you miss the character?
