Steve Martin not ready for another trip down the aisle after all.
The veteran actor and “Saturday Night Live” alum has denied that he was in talks for a third installment in the “Father of the Bride” franchise.
"So excited to read I'm doing Father of the Bride 3 since I haven't seen a script or been offered a role!" he tweeted.
Disney also confirmed to "Entertainment Weekly" that there are no plans for a new "Father of the Bride."
The newly-launched NikkiFinke.com reported earlier this week that the threequel was going to center on the wedding of George’s gay son, who was set to marry the son of a Navy SEAL.
The most recent installment was released in 1995, following the remake of the 1950 original back in 1991.
Diane Keaton played Martin's wife in the preview two films, with Kimberly Williams-Paisley as his daughter and Kieran Culkin as the son in question, Matty.
