Halle Berry’s “Extant” hasn’t even debuted yet, but apparently it already has the presidential seal of approval.
At the very least, it’s reportedly good enough for President Obama’s daughter Malia to work on as a production assistant, according to “The Wrap.”
“She helped with computer shop alignments and the director also let her slate a take,” a source told “The Wrap.”
The 15-year-old’s gig was believed to be for just one day, as the series films in Los Angeles, during which time the President was giving a commencement speech at University of California Irvine on the weekend.
The drama, which premieres on CBS next month, follows Berry as an astronaut who was in space alone, only to return home mysteriously pregnant.
“Extant” bows on CBS on Wednesday, July 9 at 9pm, just 5 days after Malia turns 16.
What a great early birthday present! Let us know what you think of Malia’s foray into the working world in the comments.
