When it comes to Paula Patton, nothing will stop Robin Thicke from attempting to “Get Her Back.”
“Us Weekly” has confirmed that the singer is naming his forthcoming record “Paula” in honor of his estranged wife.
He has been laying it on thick – no pun intended – in trying to win her back, debuting his first single from the record, “Get Her Back,” at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
The high school sweethearts split back in February, releasing a statement that it was a joint decision.
It obviously doesn’t appear quite as mutual, with Thicke going on to dedicate numerous songs to her at various concerts since the separation and now naming an LP after her.
While there hasn’t been any public reconciliation between Thicke and Patton, that hasn’t stopped him from continuing his efforts, with “Paula” set for release on July 1.
