A talk show host and his producer find themselves as part of a CIA initiative to kill North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

This fall, Seth Rogen and James Franco will attempt to do just that in their new film, “The Interview.” Do they realize what they’re getting into? Probably not.

Franco plays talk-show host Dave Skylark while Rogen stars as his producer, Aaron Rapoport. After discovering that Kim Jong Un watches their show, they set up an interview with him in North Korea.

While they originally set out to make their mark and prove their journalistic legitimacy, they soon become engaged in a CIA operation to take him out.

Though it sounds kind of heavy, the film has been billed as an action-comedy, and we’re all looking forward to watching these two real life BFFs on the big screen together once again.

The October release, which costars Lizzy Caplan (“Masters of Sex”), was co-directed by Rogen and his writing partner Evan Goldberg.
