can't always be Miss Congeniality, especially when her and her son’s safety might be in danger.

The A-list actress was granted an emergency protective order after a man named Joshua Corbett allegedly broke into her home Sunday, TMZ reports.

Bullock was inside and called the police, and the “hot prowler suspect” was arrested for burglary, according to the “Los Angeles Times.” Nothing was taken and TMZ alleges that it looks “more like a stalking case.”

The Oscar winner has a son, Louis, who she adopted back in 2010. Her next project is a voice role in a “Despicable Me” spinoff called “Minions,” which is due out next year.

While we’re glad she called the cops and nobody was hurt, we’re sure that Sandra could’ve always called upon her “Miss Congeniality” self-defense skills. Brush up on your “S.I.N.G.”-ing skills below:
