is not “always a Bridesmaid”: she’s about to take center stage in a new movie.

The actress is in talks for a new film from the producers of her latest hit, “Neighbors,” according to “The Hollywood Reporter.

Byrne would reportedly star in “The Something,” a movie about “astronauts lost in space.” No other casting has been revealed for the comedy, which comes from Universal Pictures.

The star has shown so much diversity in her projects since coming onto the scene in FX’s “Damages,” from horror (the “Insidious” series) to comic book adaptations (“X-Men: First Class”) and comedy.

Byrne will also be seeing some familiar faces in “Spy,” a new comedy from “Bridesmaids” director Paul Feig and starring Melissa McCarthy as a secret agent.

This is also part of the star-studded cast for “This Is Where I Leave You,” a new dramedy featuring Tina Fey, Jason Bateman and Jane Fonda, among many other notable names.
