Sit down and let Channing Tatum and Zoe Saldana tell you “The Book of Life.”

The duo has a new animated film coming out this fall from acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro, centered on the Dia de Los Muertos holiday.

Saldana plays Maria, a woman whose boyfriend, Manolo (Diego Luna), is transported to the “World of the Remember,” and he must make a decision on whether to stay or go.

The voice cast also includes Ice Cube, Christina Applegate, Ron Perlman, Danny Trejo (“Machete Kills”) and Cheech Marin.

Pixar also has a Dia de los Muertos feature in the works, in spite of their failure to trademark the holiday. The untitled Lee Unkrich film is still listed on their docket of upcoming projects.

Fittingly, “The Book of Life” is due out on October 17, just in time for Dia de Los Muertos! Let us know if you plan to see it in the comments section below!
