Forbes’ annual Most Powerful Women list is in, and it’s got a whole lot of star power.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel tops the list, with Melinda Gates at no. 3, Hillary Clinton at no. 6 and the First Lady at no. 8.
The top celebrity is Oprah Winfrey at no. 14, followed by Beyonce at no. 17.
Queen Bey is noted for her Super Bowl performance in 2013, her surprise album drop and her upcoming On the Run Tour with husband Jay Z behind the top 20 ranking.
Other notable rankings include Sofia Vergara in the 32nd spot, the Queen herself at no. 35, Ellen DeGeneres at no. 46, Angelina Jolie at no. 50, Lady Gaga at no. 67 and Gisele Bundchen at no. 89.
For Lady Gaga, the publication doesn’t shy away from her underperforming “Artpop,” but the success of her tours, perfume, design work and community efforts are cited for her continued influence.
The “Forbes” list targets the 100 most powerful women based on “money, media presence, spheres of influence and impact,” after seeking women in categories ranging from business to politics to celebrity.
