The CW is sticking with the status quo this fall, only introducing two new shows: “Jane the Virgin” and “The Flash.”
“Flash” will debut on Tuesdays at 8pm, leading into “Supernatural,” and the show’s preview clocks in at more than five minutes.
Grant Gustin’s character was introduced in an episode of “Arrow” this past season, during which he was left comatose in an accident.
It seems like he’s back in action, as he searches for the one who killed his mother, just as he’s beginning to grapple with his new powers.
Meanwhile, “Jane” stars Gina Rodriguez as a young woman who is accidentally artificially inseminated. The 30-second teaser introduces the eponymous character and the dilemma she faces.
It will join “The Originals” on Monday nights at 9pm, as the CW sees potential in the female-skewing block.
In midseason, the CW will bring on “iZombie” from “Veronica Mars” creator Rob Thomas and genre series “The Messengers.”
