No need to search through a book to find “Fantastic Beasts,” because they’ll be on the big screen in 2016!
The first installment in J.K. Rowling’s “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” trilogy will be released on November 18, 2016, Vulture reports.
The pseudo-Harry Potter spinoff, set 70 years before the events in those novels, will follow the adventures of Magizoologist Newt Scamander.
The title gets its name from one of the books Harry and his classmates studied at Hogwarts, which not coincidentally was penned by Scamander himself.
Rowling published a real version of the book in 2001, along with “Quidditch Through the Ages.”
She will write the films and already confirmed that this will be the first of three in a “New York Times” profile.
The esteemed author has also signed on to publish a second novel under her nom de plume, Robert Galbraith.
