The “Star Wars” franchise is already home to one of the most iconic father-son moments in movie – “I am your father” – and they’re going back for more.
“Girls” actor Adam Driver has been confirmed as a cast member in “Star Wars: Episode VII,” after ongoing rumors that he would play a villain.
But according to MTV News (via Jedi News), that’s not entirely true. Instead, he might just be playing the son of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), both of whom will appear in the sequel as well.
If true, the character will reportedly be “seduced to the Dark Side,’ and a main plot for the movie will be their attempt to rescue him.”
Andy Serkis (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”), Domhnall Gleeson (“About Time”), Daisy Ridley, “Inside Llewyn Davis” actor Oscar Isaac and “Attack the Block” star John Boyega will also star.
