Britney Spears’s relationship with one of her backup dancers would now definitely classified as “Toxic.”
NBC News reports that a dancer named Dawn Noel has sued the pop icon for allegedly breaking her nose during the rehearsals for her “Work B****” video.
“After approximately half an hour of rehearsing, as [Noel] stood off to [Spears’s] side, Britney twirled in an unbalanced and reckless manner, arms extended out to her sides, and forcefully backhanded [Noel] in the face,” NBC News quotes from the complaint.
The dancer eventually left in the middle of rehearsal and was later told she would need surgery for the “nasal bone fractures.”
The “Perfume” singer then reportedly offered to pay the bills alongside Reign Deer Entertainment, but Noel was never compensated.
Elsewhere in the suit, Noel claims Britney arrived two-and-a-half hours late “in a disheveled and confused state,” and despite the simple choreography, says the singer had “difficulty learning the moves, performing [dance] steps and following simple directions.”
