Gwen Stefani will officially be representing the ladies on the next season of “The Voice.”
The No Doubt singer has been confirmed to replace Christina Aguilera on the fall cycle of the NBC singing competition series, as the “Say Something” singer is expecting her second child.
“So blissful in taking this time for creating all things blossoming new on the horizon… album, baby & beautiful music to come,” Aguilera tweeted this month.
Don’t start missing Xtina just yet, as she is signed on to return for the next winter cycle.
According to the official press release, both Stefani and fellow coaching newbie Pharrell Williams will actually make their debut during the current season, performing on the live Monday, May 5 episode.
While Pharrell had already been confirmed, Aguilera had already teased the news, tweeting, “So excited to have you join #TheVoice squad @GwenStefani! Welcome to our crazy fam! Kisses – xoxo #blondesdoitbest.”
