Here’s a theory: “The Big Bang Theory” will likely end after season 10.
The Chuck Lorre-created sitcom was picked up with a rare three-season deal, keeping it on the air for its tenth and presumably final season.
“Big Bang” showrunner Steve Molaro explained to “The Hollywood Reporter” that going out after three more years is in fact the plan.
“You never know. I’m going to move forward with Chuck [Lorre] that 10 is the end unless we’re told otherwise,” he told “THR.” “There are decisions that are so far away I can’t really even think about that… The mindset is it’s going to be 10 and then we’ll see what happens after that.”
Beyond that, Molaro says no official ending for the characters is in place, as the show is still in the process of finishing its seventh season.
“Big Bang” airs Thursday nights at 8pm on CBS? Are the reruns enough or would you be devastated to see the show go?
