April showers bring May flowers, and next month, Lifetime will show off its “Petals in the Wind.”
Via “Entertainment Weekly,” the cable network has unveiled the first trailer for “Petals,” the sequel to their hit TV film adaptation of “Flowers in the Attic.”
According to Lifetime, “Petals” jumps ahead a full decade after the three surviving Dollanganger children escaped their wicked grandmother (Ellen Burstyn) and damaged matriarch Corrine (Heather Graham).
Cathy finds herself torn between her abusive boyfriend and her brother, with whom she formed an illicit relationship during their time trapped in the attic as teens, before being forced to return to Foxworth Hall.
Burstyn and Graham return, along with Corrine’s husband (Dylan Bruce), while the now-adult children will be played by Rose McIver (“Once Upon a Time”), Wyatt Nash (“Pretty Little Liars”) and “Bunheads” actress Bailey Buntain.
“Petals in the Wind” is set to premiere during Memorial Day, Monday, May 26 at 9pm. Are you prepared for a return trip to the “Attic”? Weigh in below!
