Of all the strange things Lady Gaga has done over the years, this one might take the cake.

If she’s to be believed, Mother Monster has set a Japanese singing software as one of her openers on her upcoming ArtRave: The Artpop Ball.

The program, named Hatsune Miku, features a blue-haired animated girl (named Hatsune Miku) as “a virtual singer who can sing any song that anybody composes,” according to the official Facebook page.

Gaga shared the news on Twitter Tuesday night, writing, “My favorite digital pop star Hatsune Miku is opening The ARTPOP Ball from May 6-June 3! Look at how cute she is!”

The “G.U.Y.” singer is already bringing on viral K-pop stars Crayon Pop for a series of tour dates in late June and July, along with performance artist and Gaga’s close friend, Lady Starlight.

Along with the previous post, she shared a link to a video of Hatsune Miku “performing.” Check it out and weigh in on this interesting development in the comments!
