Miley Cyrus
was over the moon about her new puppy, but now it appears that she’s coming back to earth.

After her dog, Floyd, passed away earlier this week, the pop star has decided to give Moonie, a new addition to the Cyrus family, away. Gossip Cop reports that she revealed the news on Twitter Sunday, writing:

When a fan asked her about Moonie’s whereabouts, she replied, “[M]y friend’s mom who has a tiny pup 4 him 2 play with Molly. After [what] happened I’m scared 2 have a tiny dog.”

According to Gossip Cop, there have been rumors that Floyd was attacked and killed by a coyote, leading Miley to be worried about the younger dog’s safety.

The singer expressed her heartbreak over Floyd’s death, which she called “unbearable.”

“I don’t wanna say it because I don’t want it to be real… But my precious baby Floyd has passed away,” she wrote on April 2. “I know I don’t mean it but I wish he would’ve taken me with him.”
