Prince George has not even reached his first birthday, and he’s already learning the duties of a royal.
Accompanying his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, on a tour of Australia and New Zealand, the royal baby clung to his mother as they mingled with the crowd at a Parents Group event in Wellington, New Zealand.
Now on the third day of their tour, the 8-month-old sported a dark-colored romper with a sailboat stitched into the front.
George can also be seen playing with toys at the event, at one point interacting with another child in what looks adorably close to a classic handshake photo.
According to “USA Today,” he will pop up at around two of the roughly two dozen engagements planned for Kate and William during their three-week trip.
Though it seems unorthodox to take a small child on a tour of two foreign countries, Prince William himself went on a tour Down Under around the same age back in ’83.
