After all the time Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have spent together from “Saturday Night Live” to the Golden Globes, you might think they’re already like sisters.
But the A-list duo will make their bond official in “The Nest,” a new film from Universal in which thye’ll play sisters, according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”
Written by Paula Pell, a longtime “SNL” writer who recurred on Fey’s “30 Rock,” the film follows the pair after they decide to throw a party at their parent’ home before it sells, “and in the process they learn to mature.”
Amy and Tina have hit the big screen together before, in 2008’s “Baby Mama,” another film through Universal.
Along with returning to host the Golden Globes next year, the comediennes are plenty busy on their own.
NBC has renewed Amy’s “Parks & Recreation” for a seventh season, while Tina, along with appearing in “Muppets Most Wanted,” is producing two comedy projects, including “Tooken” at NBC with “The Office” alum Ellie Kemper.
