Call her Scarlett, not “ScarJo.”
Scarlett Johansson has come forward saying she’s no fan of her famous nickname in the latest issue of “Glamour.”
“I associate that name with, like, pop stars,” she said (via “NY Daily News”) “It sounds tacky. It’s lazy and flippant. And there’s something kind of violent about it. There’s something insulting about it.”
The “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” star is reportedly expecting her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac.
The star also opened up to “Glamour” about her divorce from Ryan Reynolds, which she said influenced her role Spike Jonze’s “Her.”
“[Spike and I] talked about what it feels like to not have something work and what that does to your sense of self… I think I know myself better,” she said. “I feel I know more of what I need in a relationship, what I want in a relationship.”
Johansson quickly added that her comments were “not necessarily any reflection” on Reynolds, who is now married to Blake Lively, but she is now older and more patient these days.
