Well, that didn’t take long. Just four months after “Flowers in the Attic” made a splash on Lifetime, the adapted sequel, “Petals on the Wind,” will premiere on the cable network.
“Entertainment Weekly” reports that “Petals” is set to air on Monday, May 26 at 8pm.
While Heather Graham and Ellen Burtsyn will reprise their roles as Corrine and her mother, Olivia, the film will pick up 10 years after the events of “Flowers.”
“EW” has the first photos of Rose McIver (“Once Upon a Time”) and Wyatt Nash, who will take over the roles of Cathy and Christopher Dollanganger first played by Kiernan Shipka (“Mad Men”) and Mason Dye.
Having escaped the clutches of their wicked mother and grandmother, Cathy has become a dancer.
Yet the abuse she faces at the hands of her beau, Julian, leads her to “confront the forbidden romance she had with her brother in the first film.”
“Orphan Black” star Dylan Bruce will be back as Corrine’s husband Bart as well.
