“The Bachelor” franchise doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to successful matches, but Ashley Hebert and her “Bachelorette” pick, J.P. Rosenbaum, are doing just fine.
The couple revealed to “In Touch” that they are expecting their first child in October.
“I’m a little nervous, but we’re very excited,” she told “In Touch.” “I’ve wanted a child for a while.
After being let go by Brad Womack, Hebert, a dentist, was chosen as “The Bachelorette” for season 7 in 2011, where she met Rosenbaum. Hebert and Rosenbaum were married in December 2012 in a ceremony that was televised.
“It’s nice not to have to keep a secret anymore,” he told “In Touch” of their baby news. “We’re beyond thrilled.”
As for the legacy of “The Bachelorette,” the show will return on May 19 with a new season, led by Andi Dorfman, who dumped controversial Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis during the most recent season.
