After last week's confirmation that “American Horror Story” was headed for the carnival, it was only a matter of time before the official season 4 title was revealed.

Creator Ryan Murphy didn’t disappoint, sharing the anthology series’ new subtitle on Twitter:

When asked at the end of “American Horror Story: Coven” about the possibility of a circus-themed season, he told “Entertainment Weekly”:

“I saw those posters. I don’t know where people came up with that idea. Sometimes I think it’s people wanting us to do topics and doing fan posters. No one has completely guessed what it is.”

Based on the use of the word “completely,” we’re guessing Murphy has a few tricks up his sleeve for “Freak Show.”

The prolific showrunner also told “EW” he had already planned season 5 because “it’s a radically different idea from the stuff we’ve been doing and it will take a lot of playing.”

Season 4 is expected to debut this fall. What do you think of the new setting? Sound off in the comments!
