“Parks & Recreation” will officially be back for season 7!
The comedy received an informal renewal announcement at an event earlier this winter, but NBC is sticking to their word.
While it has not been finalized, season 7 will likely mark the end of “Parks & Recreation.” Earlier this season, the show saw the departures of original star Rashida Jones and long time cast member Rob Lowe.
According to the official press release, he Peacock Network also renewed three of its drama series, “Grimm,” “Chicago Fire” and freshman series “Chicago P.D.”
“Grimm” will enter its fourth season next fall, likely on Friday nights once again, while “Chicago Fire” will be back for a third season.
The shows join previously picked up shows like “The Blacklist,” “The Voice” and “Celebrity Apprentice,” which is currently in the casting stages.
