When Paul Walker was tragically killed in a car crash last fall, he left behind his teenage daughter, Meadow.
The late star named Meadow the sole beneficiary in his will, with his father named as the executor, and a custody battle over the 15-year-old girl is now beginning.
Paul’s mother, Cheryl Ann Walker, who alleges that both Meadow and her mother live in her home, is petitioning to become her legal guardian of the teen and the more than $15 million estate, E! News reports.
Cheryl Ann reportedly filed the papers earlier this week, claiming that “the mother has a drinking problem.”
Production on “Fast & Furious 7,” which Walker was on a break from filming at the time of his death, has resumed.
The latest movie in the mega-franchise will “retire” the actor’s character, Brian O’Conner, when it is released next year. Another of his movies, “Brick Mansions,” will hit theaters in April.
