After years of beloved holiday specials replaying on the small screen, Charlie Brown is ready for a brand new feature film – in 3D.
At first, it’s jarring to see the “Peanuts” characters, including Charlie, Snoopy and Woodstock, modernized from their iconic cartoon aesthetic.
Luckily, despite the new look, the gang is all back and it seems like the lovable “Peanuts” of yesteryear.
Still, not much of the plot has been confirmed, other than that the Charles Schulz classic will finally make its big-screen debut in fall 2015.
Beginning more than 50 years ago, the “Peanuts” comic strip ended its original run in 2000, but the characters continue to live on through ABC’s annual reairings of classic specials like “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”
