Jennifer Lopez might star on “American Idol,” but her new music video is anything but family-friendly.
The luminous pop star dropped her new video for her song “I Luh Ya Papi,” which features Miley Cyrus collaborator French Montana, and it is certainly not safe for work.
J.Lo twists the usual music video format by showing herself surrounded by a sea of half-naked men, E! News reports.
The video begins with another meta twist by having the singer sit down with two girlfriends and the video’s director, as they discuss her forthcoming 10th album.
“I was thinking we’d shoot it someplace fun, colorful. Maybe a waterpark,” he said.
The man later suggests the zoo, before J.Lo takes control of the video herself as they wonder why women never objectify men in music videos, and then they go for it.
Perhaps the best part is her blue-and-green jumpsuit that recalls her infamous Grammy dress, which E! reports was intentional.
Earlier this year, she released a teaser for “Same Girl,” another potential song from the new record that has Lopez returning to her roots in the Bronx.
