Chloe Sevigny’s “Those Who Kill” didn’t make a killing in the ratings in its first two weeks, and now A&E has pulled the show from the schedule altogether.
After two weeks, “Bates Motel” has returned to its Monday at 10pm time slot, while “Those Who Kill” awaits its fate.
Deadline reports that “Those Who Kill” lost a substantial amount of its “Bates” lead-in. That said, the network likes the show, and they are rumored to relaunch the entire 10-episode season at another time.
Meanwhile, Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore’s “Psycho” prequel is garnering spookily good ratings, returning up and even getting a one-off aftershow following the premiere that could become permanent.
A&E’s scripted lineup includes “Longmire,” which will return for a third season later this year. The cable network cancelled their flagship scripted series “The Glades” after four seasons in 2013.
