Though it’s only March, ABC Family is already “chasing” summer, and we can’t blame them!

The cable net firmed up their summer schedule this week, announcing the returns of several new and returning series.

First up, on Tuesday nights, ABC Family’s biggest hit, “Pretty Little Liars,” will lead into the series debut of “Chasing Life.”

According to the official press release, “Life” stars Italia Ricci (“Don Jon”) as an aspiring young journalist who is diagnosed with cancer.

The following Monday, June 16, “Switched at Birth” and “The Fosters” will return to their perches for a summer run.

Lastly, the network will debut a new comedy block on Wednesday, June 25, starting things off at 8pm with “Young & Hungry,” a comedy starring Emily Osment (“Hannah Montana) as an up-and-coming chef.

“Y&H” will lead into “Mystery Girls,” marking the highly-anticipated reunion of Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling.

The dynamic duo will play ‘90s TV icons (which shouldn’t be too much of a stretch) who must reprise their roles as a crime-solving team… only this time in real life!
