Kevin Hart is on fire and showing no signs of letting up.
The actor-comedian, who next appears in “Think Like a Man Too,” has reteamed with producer Will Packer (“Ridealong,” “About Last Night”) for another comedy.
“Variety” reports that Hart is in talks to co-star opposite Jamie Foxx in “Black Phantom,” about a “double-crossed mob hitman who enlists the help of the Black Phantom, the same African-American hitman who had been sent to kill him.”
Tim Story, who directed “Ride Along,” is negotiating a deal to helm the project.
Later this year, Hart will reprise his role in the sequel to “Think Like a Man,” based on the book by Steve Harvey.
He is also working on a semi-autobiographical scripted comedy pilot, “Keep It Together,” which will co-star Romany Malco (“Weeds”) and “Greek” actress Amber Stevens.
Though he will not play a lead role, the omnipresent Hart is eyeing a recurring role as a trouble-maker if the show is picked up to series by ABC.
