Justin Bieber’s arrest on suspicion of DUI started a media firestorm, but not everything needs to be public knowledge.
At least, that’s what a judge in the case seems to think, as he will review the police video stemming from the young performer’s arrest in Miami Beach.
According to Billboard, Miami-Dade County Judge William Altfield will determine if there are any segments that should not be made available to the public, “particularly clips depicting the singer urinating into a cup as part of a drug test.”
While many of the press are protesting what they consider a violation to the right of access to public records, there will be a hearing on the matter on March 4, pushing back the pop star’s trial date.
“It’s prudent for us to make sure we’re all on the same page, all of us,” Altfield said (via Billboard).
Bieber has pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge, as well as the charges for allegedly resisting arrest and driving on an expired license.
