A judge in Amanda Bynes’s ongoing conservatorship case had high praise for the star’s mother.
TMZ reports that the judge told Lynn Bynes at a hearing Tuesday that she has done wonders since serving as her daughter’s conservator.
“Good job, Mrs. Bynes. Well done,” he allegedly said.
Since leaving the rehab center where she had been staying last year, Bynes has been focusing on her recovery, going on a fitness retreat and entering fashion design classes in the hopes of starting her own clothing line.
The actress left the treatment center in early December after being released into her mother’s supervision after reportedly diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, according to TMZ.
Following an increasingly distressing incidents culminating in the alleged fire in a neighbor’s driveway in California, she was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold.
While Amanda appears to be back on her feet, her mother will continue as the conservator over her financial and medical decisions.
