NBC been in the Dick Wolf business for more than two decades, and that partnership is still going strong.
The Peacock Network has tacked on two more episodes to the freshman season of “Chicago PD,” bringing the show’s total to 15, according to Deadline.
The show, a spinoff of NBC’s hit “Chicago Fire,” bowed earlier this month and has continued to grow its audience in recent weeks.
Both shows were created for Wolf, who is also behind the entire “Law & Order” franchise, which currently is down to just own series: “Law & Order: SVU.”
That show has been partnered with “Chicago PD” on Wednesday nights, while “Fire” airs Tuesdays at 10pm.
To goose the new series’ ratings, the network has planned for star Sophia Bush (“One Tree Hill”) to cross over onto “SVU” later this season.
