Tori Spelling’s husband, Dean McDermott, has checked into rehab after cheating rumors began to surface late last year.
McDermott released a statement to “People” apologizing for his lapse in judgment.
“I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I’ve caused my family,” he told “People.” “I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a rehab center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”
The reality star married Spelling back in 2006, and together, they are the parents of four children. His wife has stayed mum on the controversy, posting a family Christmas photo online soon after the first reports of his alleged infidelity.
Spelling will next star on ABC Family’s “Mystery Girls,” a new comedy in which she stars opposite her ex-“Beverly Hills, 90210” co-star and friend, Jennie Garth.
