After successfully resurrecting nine inch nails last year, Trent Reznor is returning to the world of film music.
Reznor has confirmed via Twitter that he and partner Atticus Ross will be scoring David Fincher’s new film, "Gone Girl," which is due out during the fourth quarter of this year.
Reznor and Ross have scored two previous Fincher films -- "The Social Network," for which they received Academy and Golden Globe awards, and "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo."
"Gone Girl," starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, is an adaptation of Gillian Flynn's 2012 novel about the sinister turns in the marriage of a troubled couple.
Reznor is also slated to be part of the Grammy ceremony's closing act on Sunday (January 26) in Los Angeles, with Dave Grohl, Queens of the Stone Age and Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham.
