Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise focuses on the ladies’ love of both fighting and the finer things in life, but that doesn’t mean they’re not “real.”

Beverly Hills” Housewife Yolanda Foster knows that firsthand after being stricken with Lyme disease last year, “Life & Style” reports.

“Every day I’m fighting for my life,” she told “L&S.” “For the past year, I’ve felt like I was in prison in my head.”

Foster joined “RHOBH” in its third season, but she says she was so ill that she was unable to function for nearly a year.

“I had such sever neurological Lyme disease, it shut down the function of my left frontal lobe,” she said. “I couldn’t write, I couldn’t read – I was in bed for eight months staring at the ceiling.”

Last February, however, her doctor suggests electroconvulsive therapy to kickstart her brain, which was down to 20 percent function.

Foster says the treatment is working and she is “optimistic” about the future.

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs Monday at 8pm on Bravo.
