Though he’s only five months old, Prince George’s first trip out of the country is already in the works.
The royal baby is expected to travel with his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, on a journey to both Australia and New Zealand, “People” reports.
While it is not set in stone, a then-9-month-old George is “anticipated” to be taking the three-week trip with them in April, though a final decision will be made a few weeks in advance.
The young prince is having a big week, as his family prepares for his first Christmas next week. Just this week, he attended his first holiday lunch at Buckingham Palace with Queen Elizabeth on Wednesday.
If he goes, George’s “tour” to Australia would be similar to his father’s, as Princess Diana and Prince Charles took William to tour both countries back in 1983, also nine months after his birth.
