Beyonce fans that have been frustrated by the delay of her new album will be excited to know that the wait is over.
Queen Bey dropped a brand new album without any promotion. The 14-track album, simply titled “Beyonce,” was released on iTunes on Friday.
The Visual Album, as she is referring to it, is something of a family affair, as her husband, Jay Z, appears on two tracks, and in an even bigger surprise, their daughter is featured on a song named “Blue.”
According to the official description, she also teamed up with a number of with Drake, Frank Ocean and Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche, while "guest collaborators" Pharrell, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Justin Timberlake are uncredited.
The release also includes more than ten music videos, including songs that are not featured on the album.
“Beyonce” marks the follow-up to “4” in 2011, which featured singles like “Countdown” and “Run the World (Girls).”
