After a strong fall launch, the CW announced plans Thursday to add a few new dramas to their midseason schedule.

The Futon Critic reports that “Star-Crossed” will take over the Monday at 8pm time slot from “Hart of Dixie” beginning on February 17.

“Star-Crossed” tells the story of two teens, one alien (Matt Lanter, “90210”) and one human (Aimee Teegarden, “Friday Night Lights”) who fall in love despite the forces coming between them.

Beauty and the Beast” will stay put at 9pm until March 17, when freshman drama “The Tomorrow People” will migrate into the slot to make room for “The 100” on Wednesday, March 19.

“The 100” is a “Hunger Games”-esque survival drama about 100 youths sent down to Earth after years of the planet being uninhabitable for humans.

“Hart of Dixie” will take a month-long hiatus before launching on Friday nights at 9pm on March 21, leading out of the hour-long premiere of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”
