Hardcore “Glee” fans should be pretty happy with series creator Ryan Murphy right about now.
Not one to keep casting scoop to himself, he has taken to Twitter to announce that some familiar faces will be heading back to McKinley for the show’s 100th episode.
The latest name Murphy announced is Dianna Agron, whose appearance in the episode will likely help put an end to put certain rumors to bed.
After tweeting, “ALL The Glee Originals received invites today to be in our 100th episode! More to follow,” he confirmed the first three names.
Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Harry Shum, Jr. are the first three original cast mates who have signed on to return.
The pointed “ALL” in Murphy’s first tweet is likely in reference to rumors of tension between actress Dianna Agron and the rest of the “Glee” cast.
“Glee” will go on hiatus after their Christmas episode this Thursday, returning Tuesday nights at 8pm beginning on February 25.
The 100th episode, for which vans were given the option to vote on which classic “Glee” hits they wanted to be re-mixed for the episode, is scheduled for March 18.
